THE RIDE: Your day will start at Crockers Boat Yard in Manchester Massachusetts. After a smooth & quick trip you’ll be on the offshore fishing grounds. You’ll be warm and dry and ready to fish when the throttles are pulled back. HUNTER III is a 29’ TOPAZ Express Sportfisherman. Twin engines give her 22 knots per hour cruising speed and excellent reliability. Her 10.5’ beam and heavy fiberglass Modified “V” hull provide for a smooth & stable ride. The hardtop & full helm enclosure ensures that there is always some place to get out of the weather. We can comfortably accommodate a party of four.
THE FISHING GEAR: Whatever the species you are targeting all of the equipment is first class. All of the rods are Custom Made and have been designed specifically for the species you are targeting. All of the reels are high end Shimano & Penn. YOUR CATCH: HUNTER III participates in the University of New Hampshire “Tag-A-Tiny” Program. Bluefin Tuna not designated for the fishbox will be tagged and returned to be caught again. All of the fish that are going to be brought home are kept in coolers filled with plenty of ice. HUNTER III’s professional crew will bleed, clean, fillet, and package your catch. CREATURE COMFORTS: A full galley, large clean stand-up head, and comfortable berths round out the creature comforts. A cooler full of bottled water, soda and other non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. THE ELECTRONICS: HUNTER III’s navigational equipment includes the following: 2 Furuno Color Fishfinders, Raymarine Autopilot, Furuno Radar, Furuno GPS, Northstar GPS, Uniden VHF, Horizon VHF, and a Dell Laptop. HUNTER III’s safety equipment includes all of the required Coast Guard equipment plus a self deploying EPRIB, 6 Man Life Raft, and automated fog horn.
